87 Chrysler Lebaron GTS 2.2L Turbo that stalls out at idle mostly when engine has warmed up.  I have replaced plugs, plug wires, rotor and rotor cap.  The vacuum reads 8 inches at idle. The plugs were very carboned up.  The car will start and rev up for a few seconds before coming down to idle speed where it will run very rough or stall out.

I have a 1986 2.2L w/ turbo that does a simular thing. Except it happens mostly when the engine is warming up, then the car runs pretty well, but has a hesitation when you step on it. I have replaced temperature sensors, cap, plugs & wires, computer module, AIS, ignition pickup and power module. The last thing I did was adjust the idle up a little more than spec so it doesn't die as much when I shift into drive and it has helped. I still haven't found the real problem. Any one else solved this mistery?

I"m not a car genius, but me and my brother both drive chryslers (I had a dodge shadow, now a lebaron GTS, and he has a plymouth sundance turbo) and we both had to replace 0oxygen sensors and speed sensors.  My car used to stall out in idle, and that fixed the problem.  And a few months after that the timing sensor went bad (after the car warmed up, it would just shut off in drive...) it wouldn't start at all one day.  Maybe check the codes and see if your sensors need to be replaced.

I have found a part (broken) and I don't know what it is.
It is hooked next to the throttle cable, up at the carburettor, the cable runs over the engine to a bell shape housing that has a spring in it.It has a circular piece of housing (when I took it apart it has three small cylinders shaped things) attached that has a vacuum house and an electrical plug.

Any Ideas?
