I have a detached shop that is about 50 yards from my home and there is a 220 volt line running from the house to the shop. Today I inadvertantly cut one of the three insulated wires to the shop. How can I splice the wire? It appears that the wire is too large to use a wire nut. Any ideas? Thanks
