I dont know how to write cd in solaris. I dont know which...

I dont know how to write cd in solaris.  I dont know which commnads to use for writing the cd.You please tellstep by step how to write the cd in solaris.Or if any builtin tools are there tell me the names of tools.

First you will need to load the SUNWcdrw package on you system.  It is on the supplemental software CD. (supplied with Solaris 8 & 9) Creating and writing are two steps involved, which can be completed with one command.  This will create an iso image of the
directory structure you specify, then pipe it to the writer program.
mkisofs -r /<dir> 2> /dev/null | cdrw -i
Replace '<dir>' with your target directory.
