first of all you should feed your dog a good quality dog food to have proprer digestion and keep a strict schedule of feeding and taking out. An average small dog needs to be taken out at least every 3-4 hours or so

You shoudn'tover-excerise your dog or any other pets. But during their puppy or young dog age they need to get the feel for outside, not just inside all the time.

I have a 3 and a half month old mini dashound named Kaeli and we are having a very hard time housebreaking her. We have taken her out for an hour or 2 taking a walk and she absolutely will not pee outside. She will hold it for that entire time and as soon as we get in the house she will pee on the floor. If anyone can help me and my hubby, please let us know anything to break this problem. Thank you! Megan
