if I'm hearing a grinding noise from the front of my vehicle,an awd safari, would it be my front bearings,or inside cv joints. The vehicle is on jacks so i can put it into drive and watch the tires rotate, three of them rotate when the  the vehicle is in gear ,however the left one does not engage. When i  remove the left tire in question it rotates, and the right one doesn't,I have rotated the the tires by the drive shaft underneath the vehicle and the cv short drive shaft, also underneath and they all rotate the tires ,but when i put it into gear the left one doesn't engage. I think it's the front left-side bearings, but open to more opinions. There is movement on the axle when i grab the tire at 12 and6 test.
