I have a 1995 3500 Dodge Cummins. While driving home the overdrive shut off(couldn't get it back on) and the rpm gage died and the battery indicator showed undercharge. I drove it that way for 250 miles. The next day it wouldn't start and the batteries had to be recharged. Took it to the dealership they changed engine speed/crank sensor and it still is doing the same thing intermittently. It also goes down the road now and when the rpm gage is working its fluctuating between 1500 and 2500 running down the freeway bogging the motor down until it warms up. Took it back to the dealership, they had the mechanic drive it home and it never did it for him. They are stumped, I am frustrated, any ideas?
