White chocolate is chocolate because it came from a cocoa bean.

White chocolate is chocolate IF it has cocao butter in it (not all does) and would contain very, very little caffiene. Some makers of white chocolate put caffien in their candy just like some of the soda companies do. The cocao bean, after processing has less caffiene than a decaffinated coffee bean. cocao and coffee has a similar chemical makeup and share a chemical that acts like caffiene and they both release endorfins which gives that feel good sensation. The biggest difference? Caffiene is physically addictive...cocao is not.

White chocolate is not really chocolate, it is vanilla, so it would not have caffeine unless it was added. Read the ingredients to be sure.
