hello, in my possesion, i have a paper with $1000 labled on...

hello,
in my possesion, i have a paper with $1000 labled on the left and right side, its no. is 8849, its date is not torn off, and its Dec. 15, 1840, it has two rows of three portraits located on the sides. on what i can read, it says.."seventeen months,
the bank of the u.s
promises to pay gu. fauman
or order one thousand dollars
in new york philadelphia, Dec. 15th 1840" i cant read the rest but its all in tact, exept the bottom left corner. if you can give me any information, i would greatly appreciate it, i receive it in 1973 by my great grandmother. so please give any info. you possibly can
