Can anyone help me?
Right now I'm using my mom's and daughters pc on and off. I don't have one.
I need you to help me find a pc. Just the tower.  One that is compatible with my monitor and on sale. Monitor is hp x70 but i don't want an hp or compaq. I want something around $500 that has at least 80 GH and a good bit of ram. I want something more flexible that is not so pro bill gates and allows me more flexibility on what i can do.
Ethernet ready and cdrom with also a cd writer.
I was not able to salvage anything in my pc because I know that nothing is good in it because my husband is an electronic technician and his boss is "the man" with computers and they both worked on it and i really messed everything up bad when i tried to put a memory chip in backwards and bowed the motherboard. i smelled smoke when i tried to reboot it. so it's all my fault. his boss told me to stay out of the pc'sin the future. i have bad luck doing the simple things.
Thanks, dumb_blonde
