Software testing Life Cycle begins early in the software process. ie, right after the requirements has been (almost)finalized. Then it goes through a series of phases like the test planning, test strategy, test case preparation and test data collection, Verification of the test cases and test data, Test execution and resultant bug tracking/reporting, and finally the docummentation of the testing process.
