I just adopted a one year old chihuahua.  He pees in the most strangest way.  This is my second chi and my first one was a female, which is why maybe this is so strange to me.  I don't know if it's normal or not.  

Whenever my male chi goes, he'll lift up one leg to pee, but when he pees - it goes straight and the urine hits his belly first before dripping down.  Then he always reeks of urine.  This is not normal right?
