My 7 1/2 year old ferret woke up with severe bloating in his abdomen yesterday. He continues to eat, drink, void and defecate normally. He remains happy and playful. Do to his age and apparent happiness, I hesitate to do any risky procedure on him. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
