How do I change a 110v to 220v.I purchaced a older air compressor that was wired for 110v but the breaker on the motor keeps tripping. I looked at the specs on the motor and its rated for 230v. The motor is a GOULD century motor single phase, 12 amp, 60 hertz. I took the access cover off the motor and there is no wiring diagram just numbers. Do you know where I could find a wiring diagram for it. I didnt get a manuel with it. Looking in the motor there is 3 wires going to the panel, a yellow w/black that goes to the breaker, a red and blue wire together that goes to the breaker, and a yellow that goes to the windings.
