I recently added a new receptacle off of my workshop circuit to provide power for a water fountain in my wife's flower garden. It ran fine for more than 6 months. Now, the
circuit breaker switch continues to kick off. It doesn'tkick immediately. Sometime it will run for 15 minutes before kicking off and sometime it will run for 24 hours. I think the circuit may be overloaded but running several things at one time doesn't seem to affect it. The breaker will just kick with no rhyme or reason, when only one receptacle is drawing power. I've replaced the breaker switch but it didn't help. If the circuit is overloaded, what can I do to add more power? Currently, I have a 10 amp breaker feeding 4 fluorescent lights, and 7 receptacles(1 receptacle for compressor, 1 for grinder, 1 for the water fountain and 1 for my miter box and the remaining are for any other tools needed during my work. Only the fountain receptacle constantly draws power. Can you help me with my dilemma?
