i just bought a 1987 s-10 durango 4x4 and when i first put it into 4 wheel drive,the 4 low light came on and stayed on,but no 4 wheel drive.not hi or low,and i was wondering if there is anything i need to check first to see if it is a simple thing to fix.i did look at the vacuum line going to the trans,and it is dryrotted,would this cause it??some suggestions would be appreciated.
