Anyone know what I need to do to install the half-shafts into transmission on a 92 Dodge Colt hatchback? I installed new clips on the splined ends of the half shafts and can slide the shafts about half way into the transmission. But at the point where the channel narrows and the clip needs to compress, I am unable to push on the shaft with enough force to compress the ring-clip. There isn't any place to hammer on the shaft and drive it in to the transmission. Is there a tool for this procedure? Thanks!
