I have a 1999 Gmc Suburban. The fuel pump was very loud and it ran the whole time. I thought it ran out of gas and put in a gallon. By the way my gas gauge was not working. When I tried to start it, I did not hear the fuel pump running. So I assumed the fuel pump went out. I replaced the fuel pump and the fuel filter an added another gallon of gas. Is there a fuel shut off or something causing it not to start? My plug wires are getting a spark. I pour a little gas into the Carburator to see if it would start and still nothing. Can anyone help?
