Viruses are made by experienced people who know how to use a computer VERY well! Hackers often make a a virus -which are in fact small programs that has been made for spying or destroy files etc.- The virus' creator usually send it to a user by e-mail and when this user try to read that mail or simply surf the net, the virus is immediately transported to his/her computer and do whatever it has been programmed to do. Does this help or you need something more specific? :)
