2001 Jeep 100K miles. Recently shows “NO BUS” message on...

2001 Jeep 100K miles. Recently shows  “NO BUS” message on the “odometer” just after “Air bag” light and engine light illuminates.  All clears in a few minutes. Happens to or three times in a row usually few weeks apart. Very disturbing on highway to see this happen especially at night. My mechanic has check the entire Jeep out . He is ASE certified.

Any help very appreciated.
