I want to install two 600 watt HPS lights. Before I purchase my relay and ballast(s), I have a rather straight forward question:

Is it possible to run two 600 watt lights through a single ballast assuming that each light only needs to run about 11-12 hours per day? What I'm getting to is, is it possible to have my ballast running 24/7 but providing current to two seperate bulbs through a relay?
