I bought a female yorkie (now 3 months old) from a breeder...

I bought a female yorkie (now 3 months old) from a breeder while I was on vacation,took her to the vet he said she was fine.When I got back to my home state I decided to buy another yorkie(2 months old) so they can keep each other company while I'm at work. I bought a male yesterday,I have'nt taken him to a vet yet.is it healthy for a 2 month old male yorkshire terrier (yorkie) to weigh 3 pounds 23 ounces?
the female yorkie weighs 2 pounds 11 ounces.She zips around the house like a bullet.
The male seems sluggish.Don't get me wrong,He'll play w/the female but does'nt seem interested in going after a ball or toy that is'nt at least within 4 feet of him.
Is he getting too fat?I bought him from a petshop.I'm a little worried that they were feeding him too much.
