i have 95 dodge caravan the tranny sometimes shift good but...

i have 95 dodge caravan the tranny sometimes shift good but most of the time don't if i put it on gear she stock on first gear if i stop and turned off and wait for couple minutes turned on and go in gear she shifts again but if there is one stop sign or something were i have to stop she downshift really ruf and get stock on first gear again... ?????
