1992 Chrysler LeBaron dash lights don't work but the fuses...

1992 Chrysler LeBaron dash lights don't work but the fuses are fine. The cars stereo has been removed and I didn't know if that has anything to do with the dash lights not working? Are the two related in some way,like if I have a stereo put in would that also rewire the dashlights?
