I just bought a 1996 chevy lumina and it was not running at the time of purchase.  The problem I am having is that it will start and run for approx. 3 seconds then it dies.  The security light goes off when the key is on so I dont think it is in the VATS system.  I picked up a code reader and when I read the code it was the mass flow sensor. I have replaced this and it is doing the same thing. OUT 125.00  I also took off the board under the spark plug coils and had it checked and it was good also.  Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be.Thanks for the help.
