Not a question, a possible solution for others. We had a 92 Chevy/Cavalier SW for 1 1/2 yrs, we just got rid of it since all we kept having was problem after problem. We, had pretty much replaced every part you could think of.  One by one something or another would cause it not to run well.  One of the last problems, was fuel injectors.  One popped out of it's placement leaking gas profusely. We replaced it, and soon to follow a day or two would go by then another one, until we had to replaced all. On a 4-cylinder engine. Which we recommend if you can afford to buy all four at once do it.  We couldn't afford $330.00. Along, with that we live in Phoenix Arizona where it's hotter than Hell. So, it was running almost in the red every where we would go, we had to watched it close.  We then replaced all the hoses from the radiator and the thermostat, flushed out the radiator, made sure to always use Anti-Freeze. Always checking for possible leaks, never seeing any.  We never could figure out why it wanted to go to that red zone all the time.  Everything else was functioning good. So, we decided to get rid of the car, and we did, come to find out from the new owners that it was getting hot because the heater core had a large hole in it.  We had been asking everyone all over what it could be and no one ever snapped it could be that.  Luckily the guy whom bought it was happy.  Because you don't need a heater in Arizona anyway, so he was able to bypass the heater core.  Which makes the heater no longer work, but the air conditioning will still work and it won't likely overheat anymore.  We want to tell as many people as we could, don't give up, there is still hope and there is always a solution you just need to look everywhere sometimes.
