i want to install a 3 wire starter switch on my sons 96 neon bandit race car. it has 3 wires red a-1 to battery post on starter,red b-2 to starer post on solenoid and black wire to positive coil wire and there is a lose light wire to be grounded. does this sound correct. we do not want to burn out the high rev computer. can this be done witHout cutting out the ignition switch itself.  THANKS
