hi there

i've been looking for the same thing and what i've found is that there isnt.

you can take colored chalk - grind it up into a powder and rub it on - it really does work.  You can also add a little water to form a paste - use a large, wide toothbrush to apply.  Be CAREFUL around light colored furniture until it's dry.

i'll bet food coloring diluted with water would work too.  Apply vaseline around the fur next to the eyes so the fur next to them wont come it contact with potentially irritating dye.  You'd have to use a lot of food coloring - the red could make a nice pink when diluted with water - i'd add a very small amount of blue to make it more of a lavender pink -

i assume your animal is white?

good luck

I am an Esthetician and my cat is black and white and I always dye his front paws purple.  I use Fudge Hair Color and we sell it in my shop.  It is not toxic and fine for the pet.  It does wash off after about a month.  It takes only a few minutes to color his paws.  He is fine.  Be careful around furniture until your pet is dry.

Hey there!  I just dyed my white cat last night! I didn't know where I would find animal dye so I bought food coloring because it would have to be non toxic~ So i started my spraying her with water to get her moist and I then would take like the purple and put one dot on her and mix it with a toothbrush.  After I did all the colors (Neon: Pink, green, purple, blue) I washed her off and all the colors went off of her and she was a pink color.  So don't waste your time puting all the colors on like I did, I was trying to ty die her but that didn't work out.  IF you have any other questions email me brip1484@hotmail.com....good luck and i hope she turns out great~!

My pet Pekingese is starting to go unfashionably grey and it is seeming to age him prematurely. He's become quite reclusive and shy about his appearance and refuses to go out. We've been dying his hair with boot polish and it appears to do the trick.

Ive had no luck either! I would love to have a go at painting my cat. Chalk sounds good and would be easy to wash out too but apparently there is a vegetable dye out there some where and neutralized peroxide to get a white color. happy hunting in the mean time!

Actually it is safe to use certain all natural dyes and vegetable dyes, they are semi permanent and organic peroxide can be used to.

Hey puppypawz,

I have searched throughout google and ask.com and haven't found that product.  I did find the pet silk line, but no hair dye.  I would love to know where I could pick it up.  Thanks a lot,
