I extracted JPEG digital pictures from a CDRW that was in UDF.  After extraction, though I have all the pictures, no photo editing/viewing program can open them.  They give no explanation.  How do I REALLY get my pictures (as in, view them)?

Do they have extensions (i.e. do they end in dot-something, .jpg, .gif)?
If so, a first thing to try could be dragging image files onto your web browser. Better still is getting an image viewing or editing application, IrfanView is free for example - http://www.irfanview.com/
I don't have experience with UDF, but I can't imagine it is the culprit here...

when u extracted it the files may have been corrupt if so try extracting them again
