I am a 5th grade teacher creating a helpful unit for my students about the Reconstruction.  I am trying to find out 4 things:
1)How did people react to the change?
2)Who benefited from the change?
3)Who suffered from the change?
4)Did the change have enduring effects that we can see today?
If you can find any answers to any of these questions, my students and I will be greatly thankful!
