I have win xp as the operating system, and the problem is that I am unable to edit the registry, or the MSConfig settings. I am also unable to restore the system. It is not that I am unable to enter the registry or msconfig,or system restore, but all changes that i do becomes undone when the computer is rebooted. Checked with Norton with latest definitions but could not detect any virus. Checked with SPybot- search and destroy but nothing significant detected.
When the computer starts it starts with ZOne alarm registration screen, which i had uninstalled in April, and an expired version of Trojan guarder which again i had uninstalled earlier
I am unable to uninstall any programme or copy any programme, because once the computer is rebooted, it returns back to the earlier stage
Can anybody help me?
