We have a 1991 Ford Escort that I run in a local 4 cylinder race.  It idles really smooth. At first the engine has excellent response-  When it warms up it starts to make misfire/pop noises.  It smoothes out a say 4000 RPM.  I have changed the ignition coil, cam sensor, mass air flow even spark plugs and etc..  I have done all the obvious and am now looking for an answer.  I am supposed to run in a race tomorrow night!!! Can anyone lend a hand?
