Sunday morning I found a ring neck dove outside in our garden, my cat got hold of him...  His wing was a bit damaged and some feathers plugged out, otherwise he was fine (I believe he was learning to fly for the first time, this is usually when my cats catch them).  I tried to give him cockatiel seeds but he didn't want them so I put some water in my mouth and he drank some of it.  I also made some maze meal without salt just a little bit of warm water.  I fed him through my mouth.  He ate a little bit of it.  He slept in my room on a jersey in a open box.  Tuesday morning I found him dead.  It is winter and was quite cold outside.  Did he die from the cold or from the maze meal or just simply from the small injury on his wing???
