What would cause my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo to go into overdrive all by itself without my engaging the button?   This happens if I'm driving the car for 45 minutes or longer.  When I press the button to disengage it, it won't shut off.  The only way is if I shut the car off completely, then restart it.  Took it to the dealership and they landed up taking apart the transmission...replacing some parts and the next time I used it and drove 70 miles, the overdrive light came on and stayed on!
