I have a 6 month old chihuahua named "Killer" and thinking...

I have a 6 month old chihuahua named "Killer" and thinking about getting another one. He's very friendly with other people when we're in our apartment he loves to play with new people. But when I take Killer out to walk or open the blinds he barks non stop at strangers.

I took him to a friends to the other day and Killer was playing with everyone fine and having a good time. Then someone else came and they brought their blue heeler and Killer went nuts. He was barking and snapping so bad I had to put him away. I'm worried if I get another baby chihuahua Killer will do this to baby? Can anyone else give me tips on how to overcome this with Killer? He's good with other people in an apartment setting but not other dogs.
