I'm a 30 year old male that was diagnosed with Scalp P about 2-1/2 years ago. Several large, irritated, scaling patches throughout my scalp. Began as bad
dandruff and simply progressed.
-
Since then I have never had what I would consider a true remission. The ONLY product that has any effect on it at all is Olux. Clears it up fine but within a
month of not using it, BAM!! it's back and it's ANGRY.
-
My question is this: does it sound odd that in that time it's never been gone longer than 4-6 weeks before it progresses back to it's original, eruptive state? I've seen doctors and derms and everyone in between but most were more interested in my check than in my questions. Good advice is hard to find.
-
Having no other previous health issues, the arrival of the scalp P definitely worried me, particularly after I got online and read about everything else Scalp COULD be a symptom of (cancers, HIV, Parkinsons,
cooties, etc.)
-
I guess I expected the "remission and flare" cycles all the "pros" told me about. That having never happened yet, I've become more & more concerned. It's freaking me out. Can anybody help?!?
-
Thanks and God Bless!
