I have a 2002 dodge grand caravan with repeated brake problems. On two occasions we have had the brakes fail and begin to smoke a lot and in between we have had intermittent grinding when stopping. We have taken it to the dealership and were told the first time to change the rear brakes. We did despite the fact that they looked new. still grinding but no failure this time but the emergency brake also doesn't work. We were told by the dealer that we live in the valley so most people don,t use the emergency brake. Thanks a lot. Second time in we were simply told they couldn't find any problems and charged 50.00. my husband again changed all the brakes and adjusted and fixed the emergency brake. Everything seemed fine for a2 weeks and then the brakes failed and smoked again. No problems since then . ANY IDEAS?????
