I have a 1994 jeep wrangler with a 4.0 L engine. It has a Chrysler style alternator on it and a new alternator that is not controlling the output. I show 75 amps at 14 volts at an idle, And up to 115 amps as engine speed increases. It has blown the 50 amp fuse link between the alternator and the battery. I believe the voltage regulator is bad but don't know were to find it.
