how many drain plugs do you take off when changing the motor oil on a 2003 mercury marquis?  I had a 1987 marquis and it had two.  Also, how easy is it to remove the oil filter?  Do you have enough access to it without disconnecting anything or having to turn the front wheels left or right?  I used to use metal ramps to do my 1987 and I couldn't fit the same ramps under the front wheels without contacting the underside of the longer front end of the 2003 car.  I had to cut off the bottom 2 inches of thick steel from each ramp with a hack saw. I would like to continue to change my motor oil and would appreciate any help from those of you that still change your motor oil.  Mercury had a wonderful service manual for my 1987 with photographs that I bought when it was new.  It beautifully showed the 2 drain plugs.  But now, I was told that all their maintenance manual has is the schedule of when to change oil.
