2004 Chrysler Concorde LX - Overhead console. I just bought one of these, and it did not come equipped with an overhead console, just a pair of lights where the console should be. I bought a console, because I simply cannot do without a compass, and hate the aftermarkets. I installed it, fiddled around until I got power to it. It has a lot of features which I know will not work and don't care, such as mileage calculations. My problem is that now I cannot calibrate the compass. I am following the instructions correctly, holding reset for 10 seconds to make cal appear, then drive in circles 3 times (even more- dizzy now!). Cal came on, but never went off, no matter how many times I repeat the process. Now it is stuck at N-cal. Does anyone know the proper wires I should be using? I think this compass is self-contained and does not rely on being connected to the vehicle's computer, am I wrong? I will worry about getting the temp to work once I have the compass showing me where to go. I am tired of getting lost!
