I currently live in China, and I found a kitten with a Chinese man in a shop. The kitten was very dirty and had a rope around his neck, the man was pulling the kitten around and I don't know what else. The kitten was screaming. I brought him home. I had to bath him, he is a white cat with black spots and he was so dirty his coat was black and stinking terribly. I washed him with luke warm water and a little of my shampoo mixed with water. It was not very easy but i did it, I dried him as good as I can and kept him warm. This was two days ago. Well I live in a very small village in china here is no pet shop or vet. I'm South African and cant speak Chinese and is having trouble finding help. Ive had a lot of cats over the years i had babies, cats giving babies etc. I love cats, but Ive never been in a situation like this. I cannot find the things i need, Ive read allot on the internet about how to care for a orphan but most the stuff i need i wont find here. I don't know how old the cat is. I think its male, well I'm actually sure it is, his parts are still very small. His eyes and ears are wide open, and he has teeth, his eyes are changing color its a dark blue/grey/green color, I guess he is about 30cm from nose to tip of tail, I guess he weighs about 750grams. He is very small but got a big stomach. I don't think he is fat from mothers milk, because where i found him was a bowl with raw meat in, i think his been eating that. He doesn't't have flees, no sores, he is definitely not in any kind of pain. The only milk i can give him is long-life full cream cows milk, but he drinks it. I give him water but he doesn't't really want to drink it. I give him cooked yellow of egg mixed with a little milk to eat and other times a little cooked chicken. He eats both. But I don't know how often and how much to feed him, and if the stuff I give him is good enough for him. Then he plays allot and eats and sleeps, which is normal. But he screams allot, walks around and meow the whole time. And I don't know what he wants, i think maybe he is looking for his mommy. But I don't see a lot of pooh anywhere, he pees often but thats it. Oh thats another thing, i have a big bowl with sand for him to do his thing in, but i wont find any cat litter here, is sand good enough. Because he doesn't't use it, he does his thing under the bed. Ive tried to show him what to do but he doesn't't want to. Two days from now I have to go to a bigger town. Can he travel with me. It will be a 3 hour bus ride there. Then I will stay in a hotel for 3 nights. I will also go looking for a vet there, i should find one there. But will he be alright to travel with me, and when i go to town can i leave him alone in the hotel for a few hours. I hope someone reads this and replies, because I need some advice urgently, especially about the traveling part. AND please some advice about the constant meowing, cause i feed him give him attention and he still meows. And he also doesn't't like it when i pick him up, but he likes sitting on me and me rubbing him. I give him allot of love. Please help me.
