I purchased my chi from a pet store,was told she was a long hair. She has long hair on her ears but other than that she looks to me like a smooth coat chi. I have looked up tons of sites to see what she actually falls under(long coat or smooth coat), not that it would change anything. I love my baby. But I'd really like to know if this is normal or at what age do long hairs grow their long coats? She is 6 months old.
