I have a 3 Year old Rottweiler who has suffered skin problems all his life. At 4 months he developed Demedex and when he was finally cured of that I was again at the vet only to find out he is allergic to almost everything. His allergies are mainly environment related and he has subsequently been on corticosteroids for the most of his life. Unfortunately now the steroids are affecting his quality of life so much I can't tell whether his allergies were worse than the side effects of the treatment. The only other option costs $200 a week which even I can't afford. Is there anyone out there who has any advice or suggestions as the quicker I run out of options the sooner I have to say goodbye to my best friend.
