What form of schooling/education do I need to become a successful astronaut?

you need to have something on phisics and a lot of math..

probability and statistics,
phisics
geometry
calculus
trigonametry
then you need to become a pilot, preferably in the military so you can then try to go ito nasa'sflight programs
