I am currently putting together a proposal for a documentary idea for BBC Radio Two about the Christian Music Industry and the growing popularity of Christian Music.  

I was wondering if you could put me into contact with someone who would be able to give me some statistics/information on just how popular Christian Music Industry is in America.   For example: Out of all records sold in America, what percentage of those bought are christian records?  

Within the framework of the documentary I intend to draw comparisons between the Christian Music Industry in the USA and the Christian Music Industry here in the UK (which I know to be significantly less successful).  I just need to know statistics in order to anchor my point.  

Any help you could give me would be much appreciated.  In the event that you do know anyone, I would like to investigate using this contact as a contributor for the documentary if it is commissioned.

oh I'm sorry i cant help you here but can you help me, I'm a community development worker and I'm taking a group of unemployed, some ex offender, alcoholics drug users to Sri Lanka to help build homes for the people hit by the Tsunami, do you know anyone within BBC who i could contact with this idea of having it documented?
