1996 Town and country van there is no tranny information...

1996 Town and country van there is no tranny information available from the snap-on scanner. the shift cluster stays lite up all of them . Found a broken wire in the body control cluster or computer where every thing runs from. If the positive wirer is broken could the control box have bin burnt out ? and no the shifter cluster is not burnt out.
