my 2000 neon es keeps on giving me a check engine light off...

my 2000 neon es keeps on giving me a check engine light off and on i took it to the place i bought it from and they keep telling me it has some sort of leak???? the cruis control canister needed replaced and they cant get a mach??? could that be what the code is picking up on or does eny one have any sugestions??
