Do you get any points on your driver's license for a citation for violating the carpool lane? Also is it worth trying to fight a ticket for a carpool lane violation when you get lost and turn on a street that just happens to be a carpool lane entrance to the Bay Bridge and there is no way to turn around and exit this street.  Bay Bridge itself has no carpool lane.
