hey, i have a 98 dogde neon sport dohc with 121187 miles on it.i replaced the head gausket, water pump and thermostats. im pretty sure but not entierly that my transmission is slipping. it slips mostly first thing in the morning at first and second gear. other than that it doesnt do it unless i floor it from a complete stop, second gear will slip bad, about 8 skips untill it finally picks up.. but thats not the only problem i have,, it also has a rumbling sound , not sure exactally where its comming from,, but it sounds like its comminf from the drivers side seat to drivers side rear. i can only notice it wen im in park or just in idle. what can this be? my main concern is that wen im in park ,, the engine will rev from idle (1000-1100) all the way up to 15-1600 rpms without even touchin anything. i no that this is not supposed to happen,, is my car bout to blow up? please tell meif it is, or if it is some sort of sensor that needs to be replaced.
thank you
jason snow
