I have had a Norwegian Forest kitten for 4 weeks now, she is...

I have had a Norwegian Forest kitten for 4 weeks now, she is 4 months old, we also got a rescue kitten of the same age from the same place.

Unlike the description given she is not at all people orientated so far....she is very intelligent and inquisitive and is interested in what you are doing, but not in people as such. She is not scared of us, but moves away when you try and stroke her. Very occassionally when she is tired she will be super affectionate and rub faces - but it is few and far between.

She has bonded very well with the other kitten, they sleep and play together, and she calls him when he is in another room.

As this is not how all my research led me to believe NFCs personalities to be, do you think she will change, or is this it - any comments/ advice please as I feel quite rejected.
