how do you get rid of a firewall because it is stopping me from getting onto msn witch all you people might find stupid but i think it is a great thing so how do you  get this stupid thing off???????????????????

Open ports 6891-6900 for tcp on your firewall to allow MSN Messenger to work. I know I have just blocked this to stop my daughter getting distracted from he exam revision. mwahahaha!

i know how everybody feels my bloody computer keeps getting behind a firewall everytime i log on. My ISP has told me to get rid of so many things but nothing seems to work.I cant even use internet explorer or log onto any sites at all. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Ok... this may get rid of some of your problems... For people with routers that have built in firewalls, go to http://myipaddress.com/ and type the number they give you into your internet browser address bar... it may go to settings, where you can get rid of the firewall... if you have a software firewall, uninstall it... example, Norton Internet security, zone alarm, or just windows firewall... To get rid of windows firewall, Click Start --> Control Panel --> Network & Internet Connections --> Internet Options --> Network Connections --> Right click the one you use and select Properties --> Use the tabs at the top to get to Advanced, Then make sure that "Internet Connection Firewall" option is not checked... No kidding this firewall crap is driving me nuts and its not the router i am using. Iv even connected directly to the cable modem instead of the router and it comes up as an fire wall so ... How, The hec, Do I GET IT OFF!

I'm on my school's computer, i can't right click and i would like to use MSN, and download things, i can't do either, please help me if you know how, I don't know how to delete ports, and when someone said go to nofirewall.com , where do you type in the URL?

Ok so what the hells going on? there is this stupid filtering system on the school computers and me and my friends are trying to get rid of it cause its blocking everything we want to see and need even for school and the teachers don't even know how to control what its blocking.... the system is Bess... can you help us?

Ok people this is how u do it.. u go to how eva ur boss is or whoevas internet ur using and..TELL HIM TO TURN OFF THA FRIKIN FIREWALL.

now gibeo.net, i dont think is verry effective on it's own so, i use it in conjunction with sneak2.com
now the problem is that sneak2.com is blocked
so what do i do?
i log into my gibeo.net account
then i simply type in http://www.sneak2.com.gibeo.net
that gets me past the firewall blocking sneak2
so now i can access sneak2.com which i think is the best thing to get past firewalls when you use it with thecloak.com

ok what you do is go to gibeo.net
log in
go to sneak2.com.gibeo.net
then you use sneak2.com to access thecloak.com
then you can access every site on the web, no hastles.
have a nice time hacking firewalls.

I have the same exact problem... I haven't been able to sign into my msn messenger and i beleive it's because of a firewall and eeverytime i try from the msn website when it comes time to sign in it says 'page cannot be displayed' i just need to know the steps of how to get rid of this firewall. Pleaaassseee! I've tried everything else and it's not working the error code is 800b0001 and the error code says that signing into messenger has failed because the service is temporarily unavailiable and it's been saying this for the last 3 months but whenever i go to a friends house i sign on just fine!!!! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Look I know that this site has enough of people complaining about their problems, however my problem is that my MSN is working fine, but my contacts are all telling me that I'm always offline although they can speak to me. I've been told this is a firewall problem because it was recently fixed. If anyone could give me some help on the subject just tell me.

pfft its easy guys all you have to do is go on internet options on control pannel, then simply go on sucurity and then settings. then disable fire wall.

See here, you can go on to google and type in httpbridge and then sign in as guest, password is guest, or if it is over trafficed, you can go to www.letmeby.com and that can get u by a firewall, them are the only 2 i know. that is how u get by a firewall. rate me perfect!!
